Currently the twitter API is returning invalid XML to the create favorite method causing this to break, hopefully they will fix it soon (should now be fixed)

Absolutely! Software can only get better with feedback. With all the different devices and screen resolutions out there I have to rely on the user community for feedback to correct things that I can’t find in the emulator or my own phone. Use the contact form on the site in the left menu to report bugs, please include a full description of how to reproduce it or what led to the error.
Can I change how ceTwit looks?
Sure, on the Accounts settings page you can select font size as well as the timeline item height. Provided there is enough interest I might at some point work in the ability to change the timeline colors to suit your preference.
Do you let people beta test?
When a new release is nearing beta release I have a list of long time heavy users that I send the application to. I’ll also often make a call out from @vkoser to see if anyone wants to test the new release.
What is ping.fm and where do i get my key
Ping.fm is a service that allows updating multiple social networks via one post. Setting up ping.fm in ceTwit for instance will allow you to post to plurk, twitter, facebook, jaiku etc…. all with one status update message. In order to get this working you’ll need to enter your ping.fm users key into ceTwit’s Accounts settings.
The easiest way to do this (because the key is ridiculously long) is to visit http://ping.fm/key from pocket internet explorer and select and copy the key from the page and then paste it into ceTwit’s Account settings screen.
ceTwit has an annoying white space below the timeline
The listbox I’m using to draw the timeline to show images and tweet text does now allow a partial item to show. So it will resize itself to show exactly the number of items that can entirely fit on the screen at one time. In order to tweek this so it looks best on your device you can bump up or down the item height on the Accounts settings screen to get it to draw differently and fill the screen. The ideal setting for an HTC Tilt type device is around 53. At some point in the future I will be rewriting this so that it will show a partial at the bottom and this will no longer be an issue.
when I make the font large the whole tweet doesn’t fit
If you increase the font size it will make the text more readable at a larger size but it may expand beyond the individual list item height. You can increase the item height but may experience the white space issue described above. If you want to have the large font size and a tweet expands beyond the edges you can hit the center button of the D-pad with the tweet selected to zoom it in. In the image below I have configured the timeline to be very small so I can see many tweets with just a one line preview then I can zoom in on each to read the entire thing if desired.
How can I delete registry keys associated with ceTwit?
ceTwit stores it’s settings in the registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ceTwit If you delete this folder and everything below it in the registry then you can relaunch ceTwit and it will act as if it’s never been setup.
