ceTwit 2.0 Release Candidate 1

I’m making the 2.0 release candidate public today. It’s available for touchscreen devices on the download page. There are many new features and enhancements in the new version.
- Timeline will refresh even with device sleeping
- Timeline stores up to 200 tweets
- Threaded for better performance
- Ping.fm support
- Dynamic font size and timeline height so you can tune to your screen size/desired look
- Current twitter rate limit check
- Connect on startup preference
- Auto refresh on startup preference
- Color coded replies
- Favorites support
- Deletion of own tweets
- Twitpic last used folder remembered
These are the new features, the previous features are all still here including twitpic support. Hit the download page or update from the ceTwit about page. Note this RC1 will replace your current 1.4 version.

Bummed it doesn’t work with Smartphone. It let’s me install, but doesn’t uninstall 1.4 at least.
I’ll get to updating the smartphone version soon.
Will the new version eventually support a public timeline, as the old one did?

I haven’t had a request to put the public timeline back in again until now. I should be able to add this pretty easily before the final release of 2.0
Tried to installed this on a T-Mobile Dash, and it crashes on launch. My Dash has been updated to wm6….
Looking for a twit client with twitpic access… Please Help!!
If you look in the description this one is for touchscreen only. The smartphone version is on the downloads page and is at version 1.4, I’m getting ready to upgrade the smartphone version to 2.0 with lots of new features. Give the 1.4 a try until I get 2.0 updated for smartphones ( i.e. non touchscreen )
